Wow, what a trip it was! We arrived in NYC first. New York was fabulous (Ryan's already been there and I had to see what the hype was about), but I have to say we can't wait to go back to Washington, DC. It's beautfiul and there are so many more things to do. It is so rich with our heritage as a country, and people there were a tad more polite than NY... everyone asked if we needed help (they must have known we were tourists, lol). Here's what we did and a few of the hundreds of pictures we took...
3 days in NYC
1 day traveling through Philadelphia
3 days in Washington, DC
1 day traveling back through Gettysburg, Hershey and Lancaster (amish town).
NYC (commentary by Ryan)
Washington, DC (commentary by Ryan)
Miscellaneous in betweens (again, commentary by Ryan, lol)

Wow, I want to do that one day. Maybe when my kids are older. My parents are there right now doing N.Y.C. and Washington D.C. too.

Looks like a great trip. Would have been better if you had jogged over to New Haven. I hear there's a really friendly apartment to stay in. :) Ha, ha. JK. We miss you guys.
