The Moment We've Been Waiting For!



Here's our up-and-coming bundle of joy... arriving May 29th! It's been a long journey as a lot of you may know (and figure since we're Mormons and childless) so I'd just like to share a few tid bits as to what our journey entaled until this point!

After a year of trying for a babe, we went to an OB/GYN for a little guidance. We stayed a few months for help with conceiving until they recommended seeing a fertility specialist for further treatment. In November 2009 we began our very long journey at our second home Fertility Treatment Center in Tempe (I highly recommend them, btw). Month after month we tried various treatments, drugs and procedures such as IUIs, Follistim and Hysterosalpingograms to name a few, to help us conceive but not until we did In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) did we become successful after our second try. This experience has really helped us become patient and know life is not entirely up to us and as long as we had faith we'd know it would happen one way or another :) All I know is I am soo thankful for Ryan's insurance! Let's just say he's not quitting his current job until we're done having children!

It still feels surreal! I won't be blabbing about it too much though because I know what it feels like to hear people talk about nothing but their pregnancy and children (plus I'd like to think I can still have a life with children, too!)... I think I'm getting feisty with all these hormones.
