Florida/Bahamas Part 2 & 3

I have been slacking on blogging... maybe it's because I joined Facebook and updating pictures everywhere can make someone mad! Here are the other two collages from our trip :) Traveling through middle of Florida was cool, we stopped at the Kennedy Space Center which Ryan loved, and then the beaches which I loved! It was so weird seeing the sun set on the other side! We also went on an airboat ride in the Everglades and saw a TON of alligators. They came up right next to the boat, so I made Ryan sit on the outside. Miami... was absolutely gorgeous. Definitely Hawaii grade water. I think it was better than the Bahamas! One bad thing when traveling to a new place, however, you never know the area you're booking your hotel. Let's just say we've stayed at some cruddy hotels but this one took the cake. You could see the fwy from our window and hear loudly because the room had a non-closing vent, the lock didn't work, the A/C was taped together and the list went on... what a story! We didn't know when we'd be back to Florida so we decided to go on a small cruise to the Bahamas as well. I think we enjoyed the cruise itself more than the Bahamas because it was so humid! Such a sad country as well, everything was run down in the parts we went to. Plus I'd say the water was just as nice in Miami. The food was sooo good on the ship we would go back while in port, people weren't kidding! All in all a successful trip :)
