My coworkers took off early to see it before all the schools girls got out (my idea, I'm getting old and grouchy, Ryan's rubbing off on me) and I'm a little torn. I thought the screenwriting was amazing, but the direction was not so good (yeah, pretty awful in my opinion). I would like to see it again since it was actually pretty humorous to those who have read the book! All the innuendos were clever :) My favorite "...and there's Jasper, who always looks like he's in pain (cue Jasper)". Yay!K, I had to update: I really enjoyed watching it the second time (I went by myself and apparently so did most of the the women in the audience who were also alone, lol) :) I just bought the soundtrack and love it!

Hey Candice! I just saw it yesterday, and I don't think it was so bad. =) I guess my expectations were really low, since I'd heard from lots of people that it was "awful," but I thought ... overall ... it worked. =)
